Spirit does it again

Following on from a great gamble on Carlitos Spirit, we did it again on the same horse. This time the price was not quite as large, but connections were keen to get the horse out again and avoid the penalty. No mistake was made as Carlitos Spirit won at 2/1 under a great ride from the jockey Lee Topliss.

Fantastic couple of days for connections and us

That's the spirit!

It has been another fantastic week for BetterTipster members. We really are on a fantastic run at the moment that has now lasted 7 weeks!

We had two lovely priced winners this week with Carlitos Spirit winning by 10 lengths on-the-bit at 5/1. We knew this was the time to back the horse as everything was right; the rail draw, galloping track and a top jockey. There were never any dangers with the horse cantering home without leaving second gear. The race was run exactly how we were informed. A good bet landed.

The week was not over by any means as members were informed on Friday night that we had a very strong word for a horse running at the weekend. This was a Group horse in the making. Temple Meads did not let us down winning the big race of the day for us at 11/2. We were informed not to worry about the other 23 runners as this horse was a class act and would win. The horse did just that winning easily and landing some large bets for members. Temple Meads is held in the highest regard by connections, his next race is the Group 2 Gimcrack. We so nearly landed a 25/1 double on Saturday but got gubbed on the line after leading the whole race apart from where it mattered most. An E/W bet landed regardless.
This week four bets winners at 5/1, 11/2, E/W 2nd and a loser. 12 points profit tucked nicely away in our pockets and another two months membership paid for by the very generous bookmakers.

Nice start to the week with our bet on Carlitos Spirit winning. What’s even better is that the SP was 2/1.

What a fantastic ride the young jockey gave the horse. I thought we were in trouble since we could not get the rail from the off. But the turn for home changed everything, as all the runners went stand-side, apart from Lee on Carlitos Spirit, who remained tight on the far side.

This won the race for us. We know our selection must have a rail to aim at. We had Lee’s maneuvering make up around 6 lengths in the final furlong, throwing everything he had at the horse. This was a top ride from a very talented young jockey.

We’re so pleased for connections again, as they are great lads, and very kind to keep us informed. There info has cost us a few quid in beer money though lol, but well worth it.

One bet for us today on Carlitos Spirit, who duly won for us. Returned 4/1 SP but we got the fives. The horse bolted in with any amount in hand. Ten lengths was the official distance, but it could have been much, much more. The horse never came off the bit.

The race went as planned, and the jockey did what connections told us he would, 100% spot on. Good, solid info.

We were 5 points down going in to today, but with this winner we’re now 7 points up.
