We received the information Tuesday that these two horses would take the world of beating. First up was Jamesway at Southwell. The horse broke true and fast, never to be headed and won very easily. We then gave Arctic Feeling as an even stronger bet (from the same stable) again at Southwell. The result? Won 6/4, led from start to finish. It was another superb day for clients many of whom also bet on the double that paid just under 6/1.

After enjoying a short break to recover from the Cheltenham festival, this week our attentions turned to the flat. The Lincoln was the first up and whilst you may think this is a very tough race to give any selections, we had the info spot on and along with the saver bet we finished up with first and second place.

We only had one account bet in the race, Prime Exhibit advised at 12/1 E/W. We knew this horse has improved plenty from the switch of stables and we were told to back it with confidence. In the same race on Thursday, the eventual winner Penitent had been working with group 1 horses and had nearly a stone in hand.

Betting is all about value backing and a 3/1 shot in a huge field did not represent excellent value in our eyes. However, we did advise clients to back Prime Exhibit E/W and to have a saver on Penitent which proved an excellent result for those backing the forecast.

I am finding it difficult to sum up the final day of the Cheltenham Festival. We had two more ante-post bets run yesterday. Could things really get any better?

Kauto Star vs Denman, Denman Vs Kauto Star; that’s all we have heard during the build up to the Gold Cup. In all honesty I was little fed up of it all. Nothing else seemed to be given a chance. Well, we gave something else a chance, and we knew it would take a massive amount of beating. Members backed the horse weeks ago at 10/1. Our selection was the new kid on-the-block, Imperial Commander. This was a very confident selection, we were clearly told the horse was at it’s peak performance and was running extremely well at home. We were informed many weeks before the race that this ride would not be swapped for any other horse.

Paddy turns to the crowd as he wins the Gold cup and also grants us a whacking big payout. No need to say anymore.

Our last ante-post bet of the festival ran in the Foxhunters. The horse was Kilty Storm, and it was advised at 16/1 E/W a few weeks ago. It is needless to say that the horse didn’t run less than 3rd all the way around the track. At two out, still on-the-bit, the horse looked like another massive winner. Unfortunately he just tired towards then end, finishing a clear 2nd. It was a brilliant way to end the festival and another addition to the great information we received throughout.

So, how to sum it all up? I am being modest when saying it was quite an amazing 4 days with fantastic profits. We had a total of six Cheltenham winners from the eight advised ante-post bets. The two that let us down were Poquelin, who finished 2nd, and Bensalem who fell when cantering two out.
To a £10 E/W stake on all of our selections, one would have returned just over £800 in profits. That’s not bad since only three favourites won at the entire meeting (correct me if wrong). What’s more is that all of our ante-post selections were sent out to a leading authority in betting tipster and systems reviews; the ‘WhatReallyWins?’ newsletter.

I will update tomorrow with some statistics on the service since we commenced online almost a year ago. Until then, take care and have a good weekend.

Some testimonials from clients are included below:

“Well done, amazing tipping at Cheltenham, best I’ve seen, you deserve a big glass of bubbly, no a bottle, no a crate. It could so easy have been 8-9 winners.”

“Yes, your Ante-Post selections did us proud – well done ….. I participate in several backing services at present, but there is no doubt that yours has given the best Cheltenham results.”

“I can only say thanks a lot! …. I’m a new subscriber – if that’s what you do as a fairly regular occurrence then I’m in.”

We had two more ante-post selections run yesterday for BetterTipster clients. We started by cheering on Poquelin in the Ryanair Chase. We backed this horse at 4/1 a couple of weeks ago. Today the horse was gambled on heavily and returned an SP of 11/4. The horse ran a great race and finished second, it really did look like we would be collecting again. A mistake at the last sealed our fate and unfortunately Poquelin finished second. Once again another of our ante-post selections ran a cracker.

Our 2nd bet was not original by any means. However, I had strong faith and hence made Big Bucks the banker bet of the meeting. We have been following this horse closely in recent weeks. We never had any doubt about this horse, it my cert of the festival. Big Bucks delivered with an amazing performance. It only took a shake of the reigns and the horse won with any amount in hand.

This added to our previous profits made on Days 1 and 2 of the festival.

We were still not quite finished. We had late news of a horse that was expected to go close at a huge price. This was not an account bet, but was passed on to members as just Info. The horse was Faasel running in the Kim Muir with 28 runners. We were informed the horse had been working very well at home. It was the first run for the David Pipe stable after a long layoff. At the time of emailing the horse was 28/1.Faasel ran a fantastic race and just got tipped for the win by a nose. A stride after the line and we were in front. Regardless it is good to get so close to a huge winner.

So what does today have in store? Well, we have our final two ante-post bets running. No matter what the result we will have finished with huge profits once again. The Cheltenham festival is a strong point for us and despite its difficulty we do make large profits. How many other Tipping Services can deliver this?

Our Cheltenham has been brilliant so far. With another two days, to go who knows what else might happen?

We have had four ante-post bets run over the two days (so far), resulting in three winners.
Day 1 of the festival and two out of the three ante-post bets landed. A profit was made, but we were so unlucky with Bensalem and we do feel a little annoyed over Khyber Kim (as does anyone whose horse finished second).

Bet 1 – Somersby
, who we gave as a strong ante-post E/W bet, finishes 2nd after running an excellent race. Advised at 6/1 E/W, a profit made.

Bet 2 – Khyber Kim, advised at 9/1 E/W, got beat by Binocular who this time last week was not even in the race. Nevertheless a good profit made.

Bet 3 – Bensalem, advised at 6/1, fell two out when swinging on the bit and I am sure had it not fallen, it would have won.

Day 2 (today – Wednesday), and just one ante-post advice was running.

The horse was Peddlers Cross, advised at 9/1 weeks ago. As we were so close to landing a big payout yesterday, it is nice that we’ve had a little bit of extra luck today. We knew how good this horse and the work it was doing at home were; spot on inside information.

What ever happens now at the festival, we can’t make an overall loss but we still have three more ante-post selections running. One more winner would top it all off.
